Whether it is a once off payment, every month, or every year, every donation makes a difference – for a small amount of money (by the standards of our society). Your donation goes 100% to where you direct it! (no “Middle persons” fee!). Whatever you donate, you will have a very personal connection with the Forget Me Not Children’s Home.
WE OFFER A VARIETY OF SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS:
A. REGULAR SPONSORSHIP OF AN INDIVIDUAL CHILD
$60 monthly per child (5 year contract), which covers: School fees, Clothing/shoes, Meals, Medical expenses.
Please note that we currently have a waiting list of people wanting to sponsor children. If you wish to be added to the list, please email our sponsorship chair.
B. SPECIFIC SPONSORSHIP/DONATION
- Staff Costs (Wages, further education, meals, medical): $960/month OR $240/week
- Extra-Curricular Activities (Excursions/outings, additional education classes-music, art, dance): $100/month OR $25/week
- Household Expenses GROCERIES (e.g. Toothpaste, candles, kerosene, soaps, disinfectant): $45/month OR 11.25/week; ELECTRICITY $40/month OR $10/week; TELEPHONE $40/month OR $10/week; GAS $80/month OR $20/week; MEDICINE/VITAMINS $40/month OR $10/week; INTERNET $40/month OR $10/ week; RENT $600/month OR $150/week; YEARLY AUDIT FEE $36/month OR $9/week
- Learning Aids Musical instruments: $50/month OR $12-50/week; Books + Stationery: $40/month OR $10/week; Computers: $40/month OR $10/week; Sports Equipment: $30/month OR $7-50/week
C. NEW! (July 1 2008) AUSTRALIAN WAGE SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
The FMNCH Australian Wage Sponsorship Program is a new specific sponsorship option which is entirely separate from our normal fundraising, sponsorship and donations income which continues to go 100% to Nepal. This is a positive and progressive step forward for Forget Me Not Children’s Home. Our current goal is to increase our support to many more children, so by means of this Program, the Management Committee can employ Lars Olsen as our CEO to enable us to progress our plans more efficiently and in a shorter time frame.
